Leah is one of our favorite models, and she was one of the first to crank the 1939 DeSoto. I saw a 1939 movie recently on TCM and the two cop cars that pulled up to the scene were 1939 DeSotos. Leah wears black RH&T stockings as she pushes the starter pedal and pumps the gas for over twelve minutes until the stubborn car finally starts. She then does some revving. In Part Two, Leah wears vintage seamed stockings as she cranks and pumps the 1968 Opel. Leah learned to drive a stick shift when she came to PS. Once the car starts, you get to watch Leah's feet work the pedals as she drives around the neighborhood. The car stalls when she gets back home and again as she takes you for a ride through the woods.
