Beth is a model who came to us from a local
photographer. Part One finds Beth on her way to school but unfortunately
she can't get her Opel started. She cranks and pumps for over nine
minutes until the engine finally springs to life. But her troubles are
not yet over because the Opel stalls as she starts down the driveway and
will not start again. Part Two features Beth in our dearly departed 62
Rambler convertible. The car finally starts, and Beth drives around the
neighborhood. The Rambler stalls when she gets home, and the battery
dies. In Part Three, Beth tries to start a very stubborn 51 Chevy, not
once but twice, but the battery dies each time. She then decides to put
jumper cables from the 49 Ford to the 51 Chevy, but she first has to get
the 49 Ford started. The jumper cables are no help in getting the Chevy
started. Many of the models could not get the 51 Chevy started until we
got the carburetor rebuilt. |
