Part One is probably the best footage I have ever shot. A totally cute model and a 1951 Chevy that had not been tampered with in any way. The setting is winter 2008, and I asked Delila to see if the Chevy would start, and if so, to back the car down the driveway and proceed to drive away. The 51 finally starts, only to immediately stall so Delila has to crank it even more. When it starts the second time, Delila backs down the driveway into the street, but when she puts it into first gear, the car dies, and the struggle to start the Chevy begins all over again. This is the real deal. In Part Two, Delila cranks the 49 Ford until it finally starts, but then decides that the lack of power steering makes the car too hard to handle so she brings the car back up the driveway. Part Three features Delila trying to start the 1968 Opel and talking to you as she struggles to start the car. The engine keeps turning over but just will not start. When it comes to realism, no one is better than Delila.
